Some relevant "Quotes'

SOME relevant "QUOTES" heisted from Levine news letter

My favorite part of the Levine news letters is the Artist Quotes.......often artists I'm not familiar with. So to better understand the relevance, last month I actually googled each to find out. A few surprises: I recognized their work but not the artists themselves.

This month it was exclusively Van Gogh quotes. Every kid knows who he is, he cut off his ear.... now you know everything I knew/remembered about Van Gogh. In today's world it's very hard not to know who he is.

" I dream of painting and then I paint my dream." Vincent van Gogh

"One may have a blazing hearth in one's soul and yet no one ever came to sit by it. Passers-by see only a wisp of smoke from the chimney and continue on their way." Vincent van Gogh

"Those Dutchmen had hardly any imagination or fantasy, but their good taste and their scientific knowledge of composition were enormous." Vincent van Gogh
