How
can we benefit financially once a painting leaves the studio and the
party is over? Good
news! We own the copyrights to our original work, why not exploit it,
find ways to take advantage of
that fact. Sometimes I license the rights to an image and collect
royalties. Sometimes I take full control for "special works" through
"Private Collection Giclee". I do special limited edition artist
embellished giclees. They are same size, equally framed and very
comfortable with originals.
Good quality digital
captures of selected works for reproduction
rights is worth it for present and future use to any working artist or
their estate. Especially our best work because it can pay off in the
end. Good work
will always have more than one admirer. Technology available today
makes it possible for more of us worldwide to personally enjoy art
through quality giclee reproduction. Fine Art Reproductions or artist
copies have played an important part in art throughout human history.
Besides art is meant to be shared and original anything is hard to come by in
the 21st Century. So, team take advantage of it! First, make sure you have quality work enticing enough at 30 feet and touchable close up before you do.
BONNIE JORDAN'S MAGNIFICENT - MOONLIGHT SONATA
Moonlight Sonata by Bonnie Jordon 36x30 oil on linen
Swimming-in-Paint team member, Bonnie Jordan
had a
professional colour corrected digital capture made of her wonderful
lily painting above to share with others. She has many reasons beyond
sharing, she can also collect dividends from her hard work or not part
with the original and still collect dividends. Coach gets it.....coach has a few not leaving his
protection too!
