A phenomenon

I cannot warmup to the 32x32 postage stamp on my easel.... Looked at it all day yesterday thinking it looked better blank!

In sympathy to the wondrous banana duct tapped to the wall sensation last week at Art Basel Miami Beach. Perhaps if it were duct taped on my postage stamp canvas which is about right for it! We could have share as a contributor.

What runs through minds when it sells and resells three times between 120k - 150k and then eaten by a performance artist. I suppose the buyer could hang his ass to a wall and wait.... A phenomenon I only wish for my Red "X" Venice painting!

I did find it on google. When painted the title "It had is moments" made sense. Since referred to as the Red "X" painting. However, not descriptive enough, must have Venice included for google search.

It is raining and a bit cold, not a great day to start a painting.... But I am bored useless. I could take the time to work on a virtual gallery exhibit. A good thought!
HOWEVER!

Canvas 1329-1 at days end 4/30/20

I did decide to paint after all. Nice thing about the 32x32 canvas, it moves along faster. My reference is from one of those Photoshop days (below). Happy colours and loaded with Koi (if you can find them).

Later!

A new Day

Glad to have that last canvas off my easel! The new 32x32 canvas looks like a postage stamp on it! No painting today, might say it is a Photoshop day. Most days I go out and take a few shots of the deck pond. If something catches my interest, I will give it makeover.

 PHOTOSHOP DAY

The crop reveals a perspective which has the bubbles resembling raindrops falling, the only thing missing is the splash down. A thought for my spheres!

 UP CLOSE & PERSONAL

Today's cameras reveal all the information in minute detail if you take the time to look. Zoom is a great tool!

  COLOUR SHIFTING MONET
Still reveals the sunlight softly moving across the pond surface.

 EXTREME EFFECTS IN CURVES
Can dramatically change colour layers and punctuation. Yet still has the sunlight!

What happens from here is swimming-in-paint, the fascinating part of making art.

Bubbles or Spheres

Seems I found myself in a never-ending rabbit hole with the last canvas. All is not lost.... I can paint pond bubbles in my sleep! Although mine look more like glass spheres on the water surface. The bubbles are like a magnifying glass, little port holes transmitting colours below the surface not otherwise visible. A nice effect and play's well with my "Less-is-More" collection.

BUBBLES or SPHERES

There are (6) square canvases 32x32 with silver floater frames waiting for me to binge on. A bit small for the billboard concept.... we will see!
