SIP Sunday at Crossroads was a perfect end last week. We really do enjoy the day kibitzing and swimming-in-paint. So much so I totally forgot to pull out the camera - planned to but....

Back in the studio my second pass failed, not sure why, different light, just did not work.
Finally, mineral spirits, a rag and wiped the fresh paint off.
Unfortunately, some of the original work went with it. My only option was
to start over. Nothing to lose here, scaled off the hand, made a few
modifications and ended here for the day.... OUCH!

favorite bit of paint this week is the paintbrush below! The rest of the painting is up for grabs to how it turned out.
MY FAVORITE BIT!
A long week on this one. Not expecting it would be quite as annoying as it was. I decided good or bad, today was the last day! Hand might be too big for its own good, love the brush! Other than a bit overworked here and there not a bad week at the easel.... Tomorrow will be a no painting day!
A final note, the I-pad is particularly good at exposing details often missed in a photo..
