July and August we had a number of outstanding paintings completed during
studio. That comes with some time, attention to detail and understanding. A
successful painting outcome is generally how fast you can move through
it without stumbling. So, recognizing and solving problems quickly is big.
My favorite part of coaching is seeing the team grow, producing art able to be shared and art to delight the many art lovers that frequent Crossroads bi-monthly openings...... a celebration of art and artists.
The
Swimming-in-Paint walls are to inspire and show the team what is
required to
make "Best wall" paintings. Paintings meant to sell, leave, and find
their own destiny. Seeing our work all dressed up and on the wall is
priceless to our development as artists. When our art speaks to others,
even better! This is how we find out.
GOOD PAINTINGS ALWAYS FIND WALLS TO HANG ON!
The art we make has to speak to others. When it does, our course is set in one direction or another.... all we have to do is move with it and enjoy the ride.
Always protect the value of your art, your galleries and those who cherish and collect your work.

E. LONGSTREET
SOLD!!!
THE
"WOW PAINTINGS" will be on display in the Chuck Larivey gallery at Crossroads
through October. This month is special, because we have a bi-monthly opening
to celebrate on September 15th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. SOLD!!!
ELIZABETH'S Peacock has flown to find it's own future. So, Longstreet's newest landscape below will stand in Friday night and perhaps also find a wall too!
This is a special painting, because it is Elizabeth's first "learning" painting exploring something new in her art, colour and light in fog.
Stop by, take a peek or better yet give one a good wall
to hang around on.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
TO ALL THE JULY & AUGUST TEAMS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!
