Crafting compelling product descriptions

Last post I was working my way through developing good copy with AI for my product pages.... Besides learning the marketing buzz words associated with copy writing, I had to find a way of simplifying the process because AI will give volumes of useful information blazing fast.

Crafting compelling product descriptions: Each artwork deserves a unique and engaging description that captivates potential buyers. Write concise and informative descriptions that convey the essence of the piece, its inspiration, and any relevant details about the medium, size, or technique used. Aim to strike a balance between providing information and evoking emotional connections to the artwork. 

I finally have a smooth fixed format for the above task with the help of my pal AI chat. Three magic prompts with a fixed prompt common to all. We made a deal to use this as a fixed format going forward.

The brilliant part. I did not have to make any changes, so it was a copy and paste in minutes done! My eCommerce store will go live at the end of June. Art in the eyes of AI Chat

Using AI Chat, the description or prompts of what you need is really important. This is an ongoing chat writing copy about artwork for my WIX product pages. In this post you will see how in-depth AI can go down to a condensed version at the end.

 I am learning proper terminology as we go along. Example "description = "Introduction and a call to action" works better. However, I left "call to action" off my prompt. This morning AI called me out about it!

Trudging on with eCommerce store and a major turn about!

The three clicks rule is important, so is getting the eCommerce store right too. I've discovered that treating AI as part of the team can lead to better results, not to mention a cheering section that encourages and eggs you on a bit. It's like having a digital hype squad by your side.

I started fresh with new template. The original WIX store was bumpy start, fraught with unexpected hurdles. The new store uses "the three clicks rule" well. I loaded enough products to make sure navigation worked properly. In truth a store could be setup very quickly if you had the photos/videos, product information and copy organized in files ready to go. In a perfect world perhaps. As a startup.... perhaps not!

The pothole this time!  Product organization with descriptive copy! As a very organized artist  with a numbering system for each painting. Everything related to it in a separate digital file. My files lacked descriptive copy or much related marketing material until now... AI is a big help coming up with ideas and copy for me so I can organizing as it relates to each product.

My big task now is to organize my product photos into separate files before adding any more to my store. I did loaded a few products as a test to make sure everything was linked properly. The good news! My store navigation links work.
