Slow day here, thought I would try one of the Water Pony references from S.I.P #10 we'll use this Saturday.
My canvas is a small 12x16.......postage stamp kinda size. After cropping and sizing the reference in Photoshop to match up with my canvas, I was ready to push paint. The stages below might be a useful guide converting a static photo into movement and light on canvas with abstract shapes.
