The silver leaf was overpowering at a distance and needed a full day of "slap down"! I reduced much of the metal shine by thin over painting which helped a lot. Finally after some selective over leafing the silver leaf sparkle appears as if its sitting on top of the waters surface. In
this case establishing a metal leaf pattern first didn't work well.....
most likely because here the concept was fluid and not predetermined like the last one. Tricky stuff..... next time I'll know better!
