Dream Big Artworks - progress update and Dynamic approch

Great news! My domain is now linked to my brand-new website, "Dream Big Artworks," hosted on WIX. With the help of a WIX expert, we were able to navigate around the 60-day policy hold by Domain.com, allowing me to go live with my website anytime now. This marks a significant milestone in my eCommerce project. In the past week, my primary focus has been on refining the product pages and ensuring a seamless experience across all screen sizes.

During the process of setting up the website, I made a decision to include the option of selling original artworks. While this wasn't part of my initial plan, the website's layout and preview led me to believe that offering original pieces would be a natural fit. It's quite different from the initial 48-hour challenge I embarked upon on April 28th.

One of the most significant advantages of operating an eCommerce gallery is the ability to tell the whole story of your artwork in a quick and efficient manner. With just a few clicks, visitors can navigate through your website, explore your work, and make a purchase. This streamlined process is in stark contrast to the traditional gallery route, which often involves a lengthy procedure. Additionally, an eCommerce platform allows you to present your work exactly as you envision it. By leveraging this global platform, you have the opportunity to reach a wider audience, transcending the limitations of a small local market. Think about it! Small audience in a crowded field or a global pond.

Smartist pro room app adds 20 more rooms every few weeks. There are always rooms that get my attention so I took the opportunity to show off  a new artwork "Toy Store" in my favorite room settings.

When introducing a new artwork for sale, there are four crucial elements to consider:

  1. Discovery: It's essential to ensure that your artwork is easily discoverable by your target audience. This can be achieved through effective marketing and promotion strategies.

  2. Emotion: Invoking emotion in potential buyers is crucial for establishing a connection with your artwork. Craft your descriptions and visuals in a way that evokes the desired emotions.

  3. Call to Action: Prompt your visitors to take action by including clear and persuasive calls to action throughout your website. This will encourage them to explore further, make inquiries, and ultimately make a purchase.

  4. On the Wall Presentation: Showcasing how your painting will look on a wall is a vital step in the sales process. This visual representation helps potential buyers envision the artwork in their own space, making it more enticing and relatable.

This dynamic approach revolutionizes the way I introduce new artwork, captivating audiences and providing a fresh experience with each piece. It allows for quick iterations, ensuring that every new painting receives the attention it deserves while maintaining the overall aesthetic of Dream Big Artworks'.

Building an artist's website of this scale is not a task that every artist can undertake independently. It requires proficiency in various areas, including Photoshop, Canva, photography, Smartist room app (or an equivalent tool), writing compelling copy with the help of AI, and selecting effective search keywords. Furthermore, it demands a considerable investment of time and effort.
