Day Four - Canvas #850-3

Starting at the top as I always do...basically a warm up. During this process I'm continually deepening shadows or building highlight punctuation. My canvas is mostly dry, so anything that goes wrong can easily be removed.

Yesterday I got the hang of how to paint Iris's....this morning they kinda look like they are suppose to, so some progress from my last effort. The reeds require good strong one stroke moves, otherwise, not clean looking but a bit fussy and over worked.....this will be my painting challenge.
