Get comfortable this will be a long day looking pretty. The Sunday model was fellow artist Bev.
A simple 24x20 linen canvas taped to a foam-core support. I wanted to be at eye level so painted sitting. No real hard shadows was bit challenging at the front end. Black turned out to be the colour of the day and worked well against her fair completion. Very much a gesture painting with broad brushstrokes throughout the entire work. About four hours in length. My original plan was to do a head shot but like her comfortable pose more.

We had our usual good time swapping stories about politics and art, painting without a care in the world. So not sure how this one fairs up but enjoyed my time painting it.
