Sunday with Luis

Luis was our Sunday model. I think men are easier to paint than women, at least today true. Four of us painted him with four distinct results.

Joan's rendering of Luis is soft tonal value changes using bolder one-stroke marks. Nice skin tone!

Kathy....is married to Luis who tried to get him to smile.... and he did for a bit! Today, not quick enough to catch his fleeting smile.

 Barbara

Barbara is painting a 30x30 beach scene with atmosphere She is a no-nonsense painter, quietly moving right along to towards the finish line while the rest were painting Luis.
